Since first opening for business more than 55 years ago, Farm Bureau Insurance has grown to become one of South Carolina’s largest auto and homeowners insurance providers. As we look to the future and how we can best serve the needs of our customers, the company’s board of directors has recommended a change to the company’s structure. A proposal for South Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company to join together with Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Companies in Arkansas, Colorado and Louisiana is being considered in each state. There are many steps that must be completed before the proposed reorganization is finalized. Farm Bureau Insurance will continue to issue and service policies in South Carolina as it has for the last 55 years by the same employees and licensed sales producers working throughout our state. Policyholders will see no change to their policy or the premium they pay as a result of the reorganization.

What Happens Next
